Programm
- Meeting point and departure from our info point located in Piazzale Rifugio Sapienza (Etna South)
- With the cable car, we will quickly reach 2500mt. After a visit to the eruptive area of Cratere del Laghetto, from this suggestive observation point the descent into the wild and beautiful Valle del Bove begins. This descent will take us to the bottom of the Valley, from where along the ''lave a corde'' and rare examples of lava pahoehoe related to the great eruption of 1991/93, we will finally reach the Canalone dei Faggi, a deep incision that will take us out of the Valley in the locality of Piano del Vescovo.
- From Piano del Vescovo with a shuttle we will return again at Rifugio Sapienza

Important to know
- Trekking aimed for trained hikers used to walk on sandy or detrital ground, where there may be no paths and where the paths can sometimes have exposed sections
