Programm
- Meeting point and departure at our info point located in Piazzale Rifugio Sapienza (Etna South)
- With cable car and Jeep 4x4 we will quickly gain altitude up to 2800mt. Here you will start your trek on foot up to the maximum allowed altitude, visiting a lava flow channel, still steaming lava flows of recent eruptions, Barbagallo craters with the wonderful view of the Central Crater and the Southeast Crater
- Descent towards the viewpoint of Valle del Bove and descent path through fun sandbanks to the upper station of the cable car that will take us back to the starting point.

Important to know
- Trekking aimed for trained hikers used to walk on sandy or detrital ground, where there may be no paths and where the paths can sometimes have exposed sections
