Programm
- Meeting at our Info Point Ashàra located at Piazzale Rifugio Sapienza Etna Sud and after equipment check and briefing, our adventure will begin: a spectacular trek to the top of Etna
- Con funivia e Jeep 4x4 raggiungeremo circa 2800 m s.l.m, e da qui in circa 2 ore di camminata tra colate laviche e ambienti dall’aspetto lunare, raggiungeremo i Crateri Sommitali dell’Etna. Qui cammineremo sullo spettacolare bordo del Cratere Centrale, ci affacceremo sul vertiginoso Cratere di Nord-Est e vedremo al nostro fianco anche il famoso Cratere di Sud-Est, teatro delle più recenti e impressionanti eruzioni. Oltre alla vastità dei crateri sommitali, ti troverai ad ammirare un ambiente vulcanico unico al mondo, con emissioni di gas, bombe vulcaniche, e gli sfavillanti colori del terreno dovuti alla sublimazione di vari elementi, di cui lo zolfo in particolar modo. Durante la discesa visiteremo i Crateri Barbagallo e attraverseremo un canale di scorrimento lavico.

Important to know
- Trekking aimed for trained hikers used to walk on sandy or detrital ground, where there may be no paths and where the paths can sometimes have exposed sections
- It's good to know your health conditions and talk with the guide, especially in cases of heart problems, asthma and dizziness.
- At the discretion of the guide, the excursions may undergo variations or be interrupted if the weather conditions, causes of an environmental nature, or any volcanic risk, may represent any source of danger.
