Programm
- Meeting point and departure from our info point Ashàra site at Piazzale Rifugio Sapienza (Etna South) inside the restaurant Terrazza dell'Etna
- After a briefing and checking the equipment, with the Etna cable car we will reach an altitude of 2500 meters and from here we will start the trekking on foot towards the cone of 2001, overlooking the Valle del Bove and climb to the craters Barbagallo about 3000mt. If the snow conditions allow we will also visit a lava flow channel.
- Surrounded entirely by snowy and breathtaking landscapes we admire the summit craters and then start the descent on foot to the upper terminal of the cable car that will bring us back to the starting point.

Important to know
- Hike aimed at trained hikers, used to move on soil with sandy bottom, snowy/iced or debris, where there may not be the presence of paths and where there are some part exposed.
- It's good to know your health conditions and talk with the guide, especially in cases of heart problems, asthma and dizziness.
- At the discretion of the guide, excursions may be subject to change or be interrupted if the weather conditions, environmental causes, presence of ice or volcanic risk, may represent any source of danger.
