Programm
- Meeting point and departure from our info point Ashàra located at Piazzale Rifugio Sapienza (Etna South)
- Walking between the lava and craters of 2001, we will cross along the slopes of Montagnola up to the ''Schiena dell'asino path'' from which we will admire a spectacular view over the Valle del Bove and the Summit Craters. The descent and the subsequent crossing of the valley on the lava of 1991/93 (one of the most famous eruptions of Etna) will begin here, leading us to austere places of great interest. We will finally reach the Canalone dei Faggi, a deep incision that will take us out of the valley in Piano del Vescovo area.
- During the return to the Rifugio Sapienza, it's possible(optional) also visit a beautiful lava flow cave.

Important to know
- Trekking aimed for trained hikers used to walk on sandy or detrital ground, where there may be no paths and where the paths can sometimes have exposed sections
- It's good to know your health conditions and talk with the guide, especially in cases of heart problems, asthma and dizziness.
- At the discretion of the guide, the excursions may undergo variations or be interrupted if the weather conditions, causes of an environmental nature, or any volcanic risk, may represent any source of danger.
