Programm
- Meeting at 3.00pm at our info point Ashàra located at Piazzale Rifugio sapienza (Etna South). After meeting point and equipment, with the last ascent of the cable car and Jeep 4x4 we will quickly reach an altitude of 2800 masl, the starting point of our trek.
- We will begin our trekking here, and after crossing the vast lava field of 2002/2003, we will explore a suggestive lava flow channel. The panoramic climb will lead us to the famous Barbagallo craters at about 3000 meters. Here the view of the summit craters of Etna is simply unique! After a short stop, we will begin our descent towards the viewpoint of the Valle del Bove, where with the sunset lights we will admire the beautiful east coast.
- The night descent will be entirely on foot equipped with front lamps, and crossing sands of fine ash, we will return to the starting point.

Important to know
- Trekking aimed for trained hikers used to walk on sandy or detrital ground, where there may be no paths and where the paths can sometimes have exposed sections
- It's good to know your health conditions and talk with the guide, especially in cases of heart problems, asthma and dizziness.
- At the discretion of the guide, the excursions may undergo variations or be interrupted if the weather conditions, causes of an environmental nature, or any volcanic risk, may represent any source of danger.
