Programm
- Meeting point at the turistic area of Piano Provenzana (Etna North)
- After tying our boots and organizing our backpack, we will board in special Unimog that will lead us to Piano delle Concazze, at an altitude of 2825 masl.
- From here, we will begin our trek to the 3300 meters of the summit craters, a mythological place, full of history and geological peculiarities that will simply leave you breathless.
- After enjoying the magnificence of the craters, the descent towards Piano delle Concazze will begin and then to the observatory of Pizzi Deneri, from where the view of the Valle del Leone and Valle del Bove, will give us a further moment of wonder.
- The long descent to the starting point will be decided by the guide according to weather and environmental conditions.
Important to know
- Trekking aimed for trained hikers used to walk on sandy or detrital ground, where there may be no paths and where the paths can sometimes have exposed sections
- It's good to know your health conditions and make discuss with the guide, especially in cases of heart problems, asthma and dizziness.
- At the discretion of the guide, the excursions may undergo variations or be interrupted if the weather conditions, causes of an environmental nature, or any volcanic risk, may represent any source of danger.
